Dallas' Porzingis Returns from Calf Injury with Strong Performance
In a pivotal Game 3 of the 2024 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 on Friday night.
Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Jaylen Brown added 22 points.
The Celtics took control of the game in the second half, outscoring the Mavericks 57-38.
Kristaps Porzingis, who missed Game 2 with a calf injury, returned for the Mavericks and scored 20 points, including 18 in the first half.
However, Porzingis' efforts were not enough to prevent the Mavericks from falling behind 2-1 in the series.
Game 4 of the NBA Finals will be played on Sunday night in Dallas.
